METAL MONDAYS @ Tiger Bar: Every Monday night beginning February 27th TCOR Radio takes over the Tiger Bar @ 317 NW Broadway in Downtown PDX. Why go out on a frickin’ Monday? Because this joint will be packed with live rock & metal bands, rock & metal DJ’s + rock & metal drink specials like $2 well drinks, $2 drafts, $2 food apps & more. The cover? Only $2!!! Tiger Bar will also have the hottest rock & metal bartenders on-tap and you can enter to win rock & metal concert tickets every Monday Night + other kick ass swag! So who cares if you work Tuesday morning. You can sleep when your six feet under!

Don’t miss TCOR’s Rock & Metal Night at Sunset Strip (10205 SW Park Way PDX – Exit 69 off Sunset Hwy) every 1st Friday of the month. Oh yeah! Metal & mayhem at the local strip club. Dig it!!!

In May…TCOR Radio presents the 1st Annual May MetalFest. 6 Venues, 16 Bands, and 6 nights in May. Stay tuned for bands, locations and dates announced Tuesday, March 6 @ 6pm PST. This TCOR presentation will be a yearly event to be reckoned with!

And finally, July is anniversary month for TCOR Radio. Don’t miss our 1 year Anniversary Bash @ Dante’s Inferno (3rd & SW Burnside – Downtown PDX) - Friday, July 6 @ 8pm. 4 bands – $8 + special guest performances to take sh*t up a notch! Details forthcoming.

TCOR Radio seeks CD/Concert Review Staff & On-Air Personalities

TCOR Radio, 24/7 Worldwide Rock & Metal, seeks intern review writers and additional on-air jocks to help build our upcoming takeover in 2012 (and beyond). Candidates must have creative writing skills, voice talent, availability of limited hours per week, and must be serious (and knowledgeable) about rock and metal music. Please review the site and contact us through the Contact page. If you’re a writer, email us a sample or two of a rock or metal CD review of your choice (100 words of less each). If you’re a voice talent, email us mp3 voice samples. This is a non-paid intern position to start but is a flexible situation and provides many potential perks including exposure, great resume credit, new music, and concert access in Oregon & Washington. 2012 TCOR Radio Ad Rates Announced

TCOR Radio is building momentum. In order to reach the masses we must stay on the airwaves. We have created affordable rates for both unsigned bands and local business while also catering to the National and International markets. Statistics show that 66% of the world spends 2.4 hours a day on the internet (at least). This dictates that internet radio is a viable resource for advertising.
